DOS Ranger

I'm planning on 1 level that is a combination of two or three missions in the original game. I'm making "remake" assets (that take inspiration mostly from the original Airborne Ranger game, but also Metal Gear for the MSX). However, I am going to supplement the tiles that are ready with a large number of tilesets and sprites by Chasersgaming (such as https://chasersgaming.itch.io/brawler-asset-tile-set-military-base-nes )  and possibly also the TimeFantasy free jungle tileset so I can get the game development going.

A later version will be more like a roguelite with real-time combat, with more missions like the original game.

A later version I'm planning after that will be a sci-fi version of the roguelite game. You can get an idea of that from one of the screenshots and the sci-fi roguelike graphics that have their own project page.

Note: something has stalled work on this for now...
