A downloadable asset pack

I just picked some copper or bronze colors (from some different palettes, all by Arne) and tried to make some kind of HUD or dialog window for a steampunk game. I was thinking about copper pipes and out came this!

The bronze button was a quick experiment that worked out fine.

The gold window was based on a sketch of a panel shape based on a stylized letter "Z"!

(More UI widgets/windows coming...)

I use GraphicsGale under WINE on Debian GNU/Linux.

Note: I think I'm finally going to work on these some more, probably the one called "MyPanel" (the silver one) -- I need a whole UI set for it for a GameboyAdvance project I'm working on!

Install instructions

You can easily resize it by copy and pasting pieces of the sides. Just make sure you line up the alternating pixels correctly or it'll look spliced together!

The gold UI is a little easier to expand, so long as you do it at the center of the horizontal.

thanks, the panel was pretty useful

I designed the bronze_button to be easy to replicate in other colors. It uses very few. Also, to make it bigger, duplicate either middle section.

What do you think of this? It seems like it’s missing something, maybe in the titlebar panel and the statusbar panel? Maybe not? (I tried gray or bronze panels, but they didn’t look right…)
