Sleuth1 Remix
A downloadable experiment
I decided to do a remake of one of my favorite DOS games from way back -- a sort-of a roguelike murder mystery adventure game, "sleuth0.com". (Later, I hope to grow it into a VN, too!?) I may have bitten off more than I can chew, but it's coming along, anyway!
Unlimited mystery solving! Random-generated mansion layout, random suspects, unlimited fun! Don't take too long or the murderer will start stalking you!
WAIT! Hold the presses, there's new information!
I started working toward making 2 or more types of game back in 2020, but health problems since then stalled it, Initial experiments shall see what works best in the first stage (the current stage). I like the roguelike idea, but I am starting out making a *procedurally-generated* and maybe even *AI-assisted* adventure game that generates a brand-new cozy mystery plot for each gameplay! Shown are some mock-ups.
For Devtober Jam 2023 I began researching this idea all over again. I've uploaded some scientific papers I'm using for research, in case anyone is interested...
